ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 7.00 pm WEDNESDAY 9th JULY 2025
Members are invited to the AGM of the Society, which will be held in the
ST JOHN’S ROOM, CORNERSTONE COMMUNITY CENTRE, CHURCH ROAD, HOVE BN2 2FL

- Minutes of the 2024 AGM – enclosed, and to be taken as read
- Matters arising from the 2024 minutes
- Trustees’ report – enclosed, and to be taken as read
- Matters arising from the trustees’ report
- Treasurer’s report – enclosed – and questions arising
- Election of up to 11 trustees. The Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer are elected from the new trustees at the first committee meeting following the AGM.
The following trustees are willing to stand again: Corinne Attwood (also representing Montpelier and Clifton Hill Association), Sandy Crowhurst (also representing North Laine Community Association), Malcolm Dawes, Allan Grainger and Lyn Lynch-White.
James Barlow has stood down.
David Edwards has been attending committee meetings and is willing to stand for election.
There are five vacancies. Nominations to the committee are welcome and must reach the Society by post at the above address or by email to admin@brighton-society.org.uk by Tuesday 1st July. Please use the form below. The nominee, proposer and seconder must be members of the Society.
